Had a good Christmas this year ^-^. Lots of family time was had.
Poor Zach had to work Christmas eve so he missed dinner at my mom's which sucked but at least this year robert didn't try to strangle the puppy. Lilo did very well in a house full of people which made me very happy. I'm really happy my family likes her so much. Christmas morning was really nice. Zach and I had our nice quite morning together opening presents and Lilo tore open her gifts so we could keep her occupied and out of our wrapping paper. After we went to my mom's to open gifts there. Matt and Zach got nerf guns and spent a good bulk of the morning shooting each other and the dogs. Poor Lilo and Stitch ^-^;;. We barely had enough time to get home and unpack the car before we had to leave again for my uncle's house. Spent some time with my dad's side of the family and had lunch. Was a nice afternoon. Erin came over to visit for a few days after that and we went to see Sherlock Holmes on Saturday. Was a REALLY good movie. Glad we decided on that and not Avatar.

Came home to a dead hamster though. When we sent to move the hamster cage into the bathroom so erin could sleep, I noticed only one hamster was running around and the cage smelled a bit off to me. Poor little Reno had died in his sleep in their little log. Now Remy's all by himself, but he's also getting more attention from us now too.

All in all it was a really nice Christmas. we're going out to West Virginia New Years weekend to visit Zach's mom and dad for Christmas there. Here's hoping we have enough gas money to get us there and back! XD

So i've been working on making a Rogue costume for one of my dolls the past few weeks. So far it's turning out awesome. I got the wig done the other night and the costume itself is almost done. I even found someone to make the boots for me. Just need to get Shiroi_yukiko to help me make the gloves for her and it'll be all done. Woo-hoo!! I have a picture of the wig below the cut.

There's still alot of work to do on her before she's done but i'm happy with it so far. The wig is completely hand made. The wefts were hand sewn onto a mesh wig base and a scrap of skin top wig from a left over project was used for the white hair. I do have a custom wig service on DoA and will most likely be posting more of my completed projects here as well ^-^.

so i havn't updated in a long while but i need to rant. they painted the walls red and yellow... and not even a normal bright yellow. no its ugly mustard color. i feel like i now work in a hotdog stand.....or worse... a mcdonalds O.O. its ugly. it looks like ketchup and mustard. i like the red enough. its a pretty color but the mustard color has to go.... ew

So I received some rather tragic and sad news this morning when I got into work today. One of the girls I work with died last night in a car fire. No one is entirely sure of the details but the police believe she was murdered. She was such a beautiful kind generous and caring person. She would do anything for her students and worked so hard to get young adults off the inner-city streets and into College. She was one of the hardest working women I know and I respected her and looked up to her for all the effort she put forth for something she believed in. She will be dearly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with her family in this sad time.
